"Insufficient permissions" — what does this mean?
You tried to do something your role doesn't allow.

This message appears when you try an action your workspace role can't perform. For example, a Member trying to invite a new user, or an Admin trying to change billing.
How to fix
- Ask a workspace Owner to perform the action for you, or
- Ask an Owner to upgrade your role. See workspace roles explained.
Why we show this instead of hiding the button
Our UI generally hides actions you can't perform — but in some places (especially API responses and shared links), we let the button be visible and rely on the server-side check. The error means the server caught a permission gap.

If you should have permission and don't, contact support. Include the URL and the action you were trying.
