Understanding usage limits and overages

What happens when you hit a plan limit.

Updated

What's metered

  • Accessible Docs β€” number of documents remediated per month.
  • AI requests β€” across the widget and ADA Scanner.
  • Scheduled scans β€” total per month.
  • Members β€” capped per plan, no overage.

What happens when you hit a limit

  • Soft caps (AI requests) β€” you'll get a warning at 80% and 100%. Functionality keeps working but slows; we may queue requests at peak times.
  • Hard caps (Accessible Docs) β€” uploads stop being accepted until next month or until you upgrade.
  • Member cap β€” you can't invite a new member; existing ones still work.

Overage charges

Unless you explicitly enable overage billing (off by default), we never charge you for going over. We just stop or queue the action.

Enabling overage billing

Settings β†’ Billing β†’ Overage. Pick a per-unit rate and a monthly cap. We bill the overage on your next invoice.
