Adding or updating a payment method

Add a card

1. Open Settings → Billing → Payment methods.
2. Click Add payment method.
3. Enter card details (we use Stripe — your card never touches our servers).
4. Optionally mark as default.

ACH debit (US only)

Click Add payment method → Bank account. We use Stripe's instant-verification flow — sign in to your bank, pick the account, and you're done.

Updating an existing card

Click the card → Edit. You can update the expiration date and billing zip; the card number itself can't be changed (delete and re-add).

Removing a payment method

Click the card → Delete. You can't remove the only payment method on file unless you also cancel the subscription.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we retry automatically over the next 7 days, then put the workspace into a grace state for another 7 days. After 14 days total, write access is suspended (read-only mode) until billing is resolved.
