Running your first scan

Trigger a scan

1. Open ADA Scanner → Sites.
2. Click into the site you added.
3. Click Run scan.

What happens next

• We start crawling immediately. You'll see a progress bar showing pages discovered and pages tested.
• Most scans finish in 2–10 minutes. Large sites (thousands of URLs) can take longer — you'll get an email when it's done.
• Results stream in live — you can start reading the first pages while the rest finish.

Where the report lives

Open Reports → [your scan]. You'll see:

• Overall score (0–100, higher is better).
• Issues breakdown by severity (Critical, Serious, Moderate, Minor).
• WCAG coverage map — which success criteria passed/failed.
• Per-page detail — click any page to see exactly what failed and where.
