What's a workspace?
The container that holds your team, your sites, and your billing.

A workspace groups everything you do in HelloCivic — your team members, your sites, your scans, your widget configs, your subscription. Most customers have a single workspace per organization.
When you'd want more than one
- Separate billing — agencies billing each client separately.
- Strict data isolation — staging vs. production teams that should never share results.
- Different SSO providers — one workspace on Okta, another on Google.
What's shared across workspaces
Your user account (profile, password, 2FA, connected providers) is shared. Anything else — sites, scans, members, billing, plan — is per-workspace.
How permissions work
Your role is per-workspace. You might be an Owner in one and a Member in another. See workspace roles explained.
