Resetting your password
Forgot your password? Here's how to get back in.
Updated
If you can still sign in
Open Profile from your avatar menu and click Change password. You'll need your current password to set a new one.
If you can't sign in
Head to the forgot-password page and enter the email you signed up with. We'll send a reset link that's valid for one hour.
Check your spam folder
Reset emails sometimes land in Promotions or Spam. If you don't see one in 5 minutes, check there before retrying — multiple resets invalidate the previous link.
If your account uses SSO
If you sign in via Google, GitHub, or your employer's SSO, you don't have a HelloCivic password. Reset your password with that provider instead.
