How to sign up, verify your email, and pick a strong password.

Creating your HelloCivic account takes about a minute.
Sign up
Head to the sign-up page and enter your name, work email, and a password. We'll send a verification link to that email — click it to activate the account.
If you plan to invite teammates later, signing up with your work email makes it easier for them to join the same workspace via domain auto-join.
Pick a strong password
Your password needs at least 12 characters. We block obviously weak choices (password123, hellocivic, etc.) but the best defense is a passphrase — three or four random words is easier to remember and much harder to crack.
Or sign up with Google or GitHub
If your team already uses Google Workspace or GitHub, you can skip the password and use those instead. We never store the third-party password, and you can unlink the connection any time.
