Supported file types and limits
What you can upload and what you can't.

Supported
- PDF versions 1.4 through 1.7+, including PDF/A.
- DOCX (Microsoft Word 2007+).
Not supported (yet)
- DOC — legacy Word format. Open in Word and Save As .docx.
- PPTX / KEY — slide decks. Export to PDF first.
- XLSX — spreadsheets. Tables in PDF are remediable; spreadsheets aren't.
- HTML — use the ADA Scanner for web pages.
Size limits
- Free / Pro plans — 50 MB per file, up to 500 pages.
- Enterprise — 500 MB per file, up to 5,000 pages.
