What is the Access Widget?

An embeddable accessibility menu your site visitors can use directly.

Updated

The Access Widget is a small button you embed in the corner of your website. When visitors click it, they get a panel with accessibility tools they can apply to your site without leaving the page.

What visitors can do

  • Adjust contrast β€” high-contrast or inverted color modes.
  • Resize text β€” bump font size 110% / 125% / 150%.
  • Change spacing β€” line spacing, letter spacing, paragraph spacing.
  • Pick dyslexia-friendly fonts.
  • Read aloud β€” text-to-speech with adjustable speed.
  • Highlight focus β€” beefier focus rings for keyboard users.
  • Pause animations β€” instantly disable motion if it's bothering them.

What you control

  • Which features to enable.
  • Brand colors and button placement.
  • AI-powered content adjustments (paid plans).

Plans

  • Free β€” core features, HelloCivic branding visible.
  • Pro+ β€” full feature set, white-label, custom positioning.
